By this film I wanted to draw attention to the International Women’s Day and it’s obscured meaning. Women should be treated respectfully every day of the year. Instead, it seems like men treat it as a way to distract women from the ongoing misogyny and sexism.
The image of a burning poster with ‘Rights for Women’ written on it – is a symbol of how women should free themselves from the fake glam of International Women’s Day and remember it’s real meaning.
